God is not unjust so as to forget your work” - Hebrews 6:10. At times it can be hard to live faithfully for Jesus. “Why do I bother to read the Bible when I never seem to change?” “Why do I bother to pray when I never see any answers?” “What’s the point of trying to be faithful when those who aren’t seem to be blessed more than me?” These are just some of the questions that our Enemy loves to seep into our minds, especially during tough and challenging times. But in today’s verse God wants to remind us that it does matter - it all matters! And that He will never forget even a moment lived for Him. Every thought, every attitude, every action done because we love the Lord He takes note of. Every single one - every single day. When no one else sees, God does. And when it doesn’t seem like any of it makes a difference, God tells us that it’s so important that He remembers it. May we pray the prayer that Pascal did: “Lord, help me to do great things as though they were little, since I do these with Your power, and help me to do little things as though they were great, because I do them in Your Name.” So whatever your day holds, live it faithfully for God - because your King tells you that He sees and that it matters to Him!
